BOOK

Beating The Odds (2nd Edition) (Published: 2020), Lagos| Nigeria

  • Co-authored the first book on the life, political experience, and campaign strategies of the initial cohort of young legislators (under 30) that won the 2019 elections in Nigeria, following the passing of the historic Not Too Young To Run act into law. Over 1,000 books in total were distributed, not-for-profit, to individuals in over 40 cities, including on the African continent and in Europe.
  • Wrote five chapters in the creative nonfiction book—a collection of stories about how the legislators overcame threats from older politicians, and other challenges they encountered during their electoral journeys. It was published by Yiaga Africa with financial support from the UK government’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.
  • Read the book’s foreword by Prof. Attahiru M. Jega here.
